Hi everyone!
 I wanted to get a couple of messages out to those of you who have been visiting the site. (Thanks for coming!)

-There is going to be a major overhaul of the site very soon.  There will be a completely new look and once that is done I'm hoping that the content will be better.  If you have any suggestions about what you'd like to see here, drop me a line.  There is a contact form under the website heading.

-I've received a couple of applications for affiliation.  Unfortunately, the affiliate section of this site is hosted with some kind of password protected code that I was never given the password to.  So, if you've applied recently, please apply again but use the contact form so that it goes directly to the site's email.  This issue will be fixed with the overhaul.

-Due to excessive spamming of the news articles, commenting has been permanently disabled.  I'm sorry to have to do that now, but the new version of the site wasn't going to have comments anyway.

Ok so here's the deal right now:

Ben Silverman is being pummeled with booties. They are in his office and he's pissed off about it. The good news is, they are all being donated to lots of different charities. So yay for us smile.gif

A few options to get us an ending are being explored, though none concrete as of yet. One option is getting another network to fund the project like Direct TV. So we shall see what happens.

We have until June 15-30th to get an ending. That is when the options for the actor's contracts run out. So basically that means if we get an ending, then the actors are all contractually obligated to be in it (and of course they want to anyway) but it also means that if that date hits and there's still no ending, then we will never get one.

So we have until the end of May-mid June to get an ending. I STRONGLY urge everyone to mail as many letters as they can. Mail as many booties as you can. Or donate as much as you can so we can smack them with so many booties they will relent and give us an ending.

The lack of set is no problem. We don't need it. The ending can be done. It's just simply in the hands of the big wigs at NBC (aka Ben Silverman) to give us one. So it's up to all of us to force them to change their minds.

Vegas fans are a great bunch and it's going to be so amazing if we can make this happen. Now obviously I hope everyone realizes that it might not happen, but hey at least we have a fighting chance.

Let's flood them with everything we can!

Duhamel and Heder traveling to "Rome" with Disney

Josh Duhamel and Jon Heder have joined the cast of "When in Rome," a romantic comedy starring Kristen Bell.

Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard also are making the trip to "Rome." Mark Steven Johnson is directing for Disney.

Bell ("Veronica Mars") plays a love-starved New York curator who steals magical coins from the Trevi Fountain in Rome but soon finds herself in a bizarre situation when she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors whose coins she took.

Duhamel (NBC's "Las Vegas") is the romantic lead. Heder ("Napoleon Dynamite") will play a street magician and one of Bell's suitors. Shepard ("The Comebacks") will play an aspiring model. Huston, coming off a stint on NBC's "Medium," will play Bell's boss, the curator of the Guggenheim.

The movie is scheduled to begin shooting in April.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have it on good authority that our efforts are being heard by NBC. People at NBC are loving it and think it's great. It's working and getting attention. NBC is having a hard time keeping it quiet. So it may take one month, or two or four but keep writing as many letters as you can and keep donating or sending in your own socks.

NBC is hoping we go away so they won't have to deal with the issue but if we keep up the pressure we have a good shot of getting our ending.

Kristen Bell confirmed that she'll be returning to NBC's Heroes. "Because I'm not under contract, everyone's been asking," she said. "I had a wonderful experience. I did take a job, doing the Disney movie When in Rome with Josh Duhamel, so I'll be in New York and Rome for 12 weeks. But (Heroes producers) said they'd wait to shoot my scenes. They've been so good to me, so I think we'll be a happy family again."

Figured I'd post an update on the campaign here for anyone who might be checking in... or for anyone who might be on the fence about joining in.
As of this morning we have shipped almost 3,000 booties to Ben Silverman and that's only counting what has been shipped directly from the campaign with the donation money raised.  There are plenty of people sending them in on their own.  The petition of participant signatures is about to hit 10,000 signatures!
Please come and join the campaign to get Las Vegas a real ending.  It's something that we, the fans deserve to see and the cast and crew really want to give it to us.  We just need to convince NBC to let them!
